Harvest Moon is the better game by far, it's addictive and fun :PSo on that note, go out and grab a copy of Rune Factory, well worth it.

Both are cool and each has stuff the other doesn't (ex. animal crossing you can change clothes and furniture. harvest moon there is marraige and farming). But I think i'll have to go with harvest moon because I hate my neighbors in animal crossing. They always hated me and were always the weirdest animals i didn't want. KK is cool though.

I say harvest moon cuz in Animal crossing, a lot of the items are useless and there's no real goal...

I love Harvest Moon. It's my favourite game by nintendo even though I've played it for ages and now I'm getting sick of it. I still love the idea of it even though I don't play it any more.I liked Animal Crossing for like two days, and then it started to bore me :\

I have not played either nor do i plan to, but I hear people talking about animal crossing more often. I say go with animal crossing due to the popularity of it.

Oooh, that's tough. Animal crossing is a bunch of fun, but the Harvest Moon series has alot more history, and is fun as well. I would go for Harvest Moon.

hi hi everyone~ I dunno, I'm addictive to Animal Crossing when the mood strikes me. I haven't really played much of Harvest moon because I had only gotten the GBA Version... My advice is get the one that most appeals to you and then buy/google its walkthrough. I have Animal Crossings Walkthrough and they give you some useful information :gay2:

Harvest Moon, in general, is a much better series. However, stay away from the DS ones, save for Rune Factory. That offshoot is awesome. Animal Crossing just sorta... is there. That's it.

Hmm...Well, I like Animal Crossing because of the level of interactivity. There's always something new going on. What you do greatly affects the other people living in your town. And it's pretty awesome that you can interact with your friends who have the game. However, the real-time aspect of the game can be a hassle... you have to play at least once a day, everyday to make sure your town doesn't get overrun with weeds and bugs ! Not everyone has the liberty to devote so much time to playing. Harvest Moon is fun, period. You can do lots of stuff: planting crops, taking care of animals, building up relationships with the townspeople... and you can even court people and get married ! I was addicted to it from the get-go. I do admit that it gets a little repetitive after you get married, though. All in all, I pick Harvest Moon over Animal Crossing. It's a classic. When you start playing, you get addicted right away. And if you get bored, you can put it down for awhile... and when you pick it up again, you start from where you left off and you just get sucked in all over again ! :gs:

i say harvest moon is better than animal crossing cause in the animal crossing its almost like they limited ur movements and the things u unlock is always about buying things so the shop can upgrade while harvest moon they realese quite a lot of other version of it and plus its almost like a real life game.

both games are good in my opinion, but animal crossing is definately more exciting but it does get annoying at some point, animals drive me crazy and weeds.
