I'm not an online gamer so off for me. I'm one of those elusive people these days that prefer solo gameplay.

Both. Offline games for the storylines and whatnot, online games for the competition. The challenge offered by the people online make it that much more fun. the storylines of games like ocarina of time, ffx, etcetc.

For me Online is the way to go, but almost 50% of time always somebody has problems with patch, softwares, etc... and is very annoying, and thats why Offline comes "handy".Online, because if you play offline you will face only AIs(Artificial Intelligence). AIs are not really bad but you will likely end wanting to face some "Alive Thing" as i did, yes persons having higher skills than AI's and others people is the way to go!Offline... well i don't really have a favorite but i play Warcraft, Starcraft and some roms in emulators very offen.Actually im pissed off by my self with some pc problems and now im likely stay Offline.

offline games are better because there is a story to follow where as online games have quests and stuff that dont relate to eachother... i probably would play online games if i had the money to pay for each month...

I love me some online games, for sure. The interaction with people across the world is definitely a major draw. Blizzard's works, as well as Counterstrike really ate up a bit of my life. Now if only Oblivion were multiplayer...

Online, because of updates. That being said, thats only for free games. The only retail games I've purchased are offline with multiplayer components. I've shyed away from MMOs- they drain not only your wallet but also your life.

I like offline games more because I don't like it when the online games are crowded with people calling you newbs all the time, spaming you, trying to hack you, or stalking you. Offline gaming just gets rid of all of that

I like online games cause you can challenge others, but offline games are better since there wouldn't be as much lag or problems.

For offline games, you don't need an internet connection to play it. Just a handy laptop and you're all set to play it anywhere.

Both sides have their benefits. Online games because you can interact with one another and you learn many great things. I chose offline games so my laptop won't have to be slow. (Lag) I hate it when that happens, which by the way, happens a lot.

Well i like both Online and offline games. Online games you can play with friends but it gets boring. Offline games you can end it and never have to play it again XD.

i like both, like for example, sims is offline and yet you can have fun..whereas online games like guild wars you can play with friends.

The social interaction part of online games is very nice, grouping up with friends etc. But the offline games have their own feel as well, they are also very good if you want to have some privacy .)

I don't have a preference. I play both depending on what I feel like playing. Online helps provide replayability.

Offline. Because not everyone has online play available. I do now, but i've never always had online play. I like small console games, one's that i grew up with/have now. I currently own a Nintendo DS lite, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo Gamecube, and a PSX (back from like 10 years ago). I don't play games on my computer anymore, or at least i never have, except one's that were all offline games. I do like online play but i either don't have the money for a lot of the best online games, or i choose not to play them so often that i'll rely on them. If i ever lost internet, (which comes with not paying the bill) then i'll be forced to play offline games, hence what i do now. :P

I'll go with offline. Like here where I live, internet connection is very slow. I brainwashed myself to accept the fact that I can only enjoy offline content. Most of the time the story element of the game. Games like Diablo 2 LoD, Warcraft III etc..
