Also, GTA: San Andreas.You do so much to reach the end sequence, and it's 2 minutes of crud. and then everyone is glad the Grove is back to it's bullet-hole riddled self, and all your homies can get back to dressing like each other, and smoking pot all day, brimming with pride all the while. What was the point of that?!? I never understood the gang mentality in this game, and it nagged at me all through. If, say, you were raised in a violent, dead-end neighbourhood, then managed to get away from it, and became insanely rich in the process, would you go back? No! Would you care if it was raised to the ground? No! My CJ had $40m by the time he reached the second island, and potentially could have had 20 times more if I'd had the notion to get it, so why go back to that dump? Go live in a castle, for christ's sake!

Amen... I mean seriously... AND SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS! *twitch twitch*

When I play Dragoon Warrior. OMG the heroine sucks...the hero also sucks. The cool characters all died in the end...

Final fantasy 8. When you finish the game 10 times and still don't get the ending, it's because it sucks.

Final Fantasy VIII's ending was AMAZING! I mean combined with the intro it seems like it's telling you that the entire time you were trying to kill Ultimecia it turns out you were actually trying to kill Rinoa in a time line where Squall actually died and that it was because of Ellion's manipulation of the time line that saved him. I mean the simple fact that Ultimecia gave her powers to Edea saved Squall and changed the future and the past!However the ending I hated most would probably be Devil May Cry 2... actually that whole game was just crap... in any true DMC fans eyes Dantes Awakening is 2 and DMC 4 is actually 3.

Probably Donkey Kong Country 3's 103% ending. You go out of your way to get absolutely everything in the game, clear every level, clear every bonus stage, and free the Banana Bird Queen, and then she says she's going to teach K. Rool a lesson he'll never forget. "Awesome, this is gonna kick ass, right? What's she gonna do, peck out his eyes? Nah, too graphic for a kids' game. Ah, but maybe she'll pop his raft and send him hurtling into a rock wall or something?" Nope. She drops a giant half-broken eggshell on him. Then Dixie and Kiddie Kong land on top of the eggshell and just sit there for the whole rest of the ending as K. Rool stares vacantly at the screen from the little hole in the shell and Cranky Kong waterskis in the background, until he crashes and swims up with a sign that says "The End". And that's it. That's what you sought out every little thing in the game for.

Warcraft 3(Expansion) has to have the worst ending ever. I was actually rooting for Illidan on the very last cinematic. Instead, Arthas cuts him down. As if I wasn't feeling bad enough, Arthas proceeds to the Frozen Throne and joins with the Lich King's spirit. Then it's the Lich King in the flesh. He's got a smug look like he has outsmarted everyone. I hate Arthas.

final fantasy XII, because it was all just a montage of pictures and ,although they're pretty nice, they don't really tell you what happens next. so (blows raspberry) you #XII!

Mine would be Portal.... it was an awesome game but I expected a more in depth ending. Really is watching your main character laying on the floor then blacking out a good ending?

I agree! it was so disappointing!!I also thought the game hadn't ended when you were allowed to roam around. I thought i'd missed something. Very strange.

the worst game ending ever has got to be ffx. i mean the game sucks from beginning to end, only graphs and the soundtrack save it and in the end.. puff! a lame ending. the movie is nice and all yuna tries to hug the the global dp reset for members is 12.5 but hes all ghostly and then jumps off but please.. im a huuuuuuuuuuuge ff fan but was so disappointed with it.

Clive Barker's Jericho and Assassin's Creed. Jericho I can forgive coz there's going to be a sequel, but AC just sucked for me >_<

Oh common, I won't say the end was may be dissapointing, but the game itself (eventhough easy) was great and the controls really enjoyable. You can't say that you want to return it !

I hate the endings of Pokemon games. Professor Oak isint really helping when he tells you to update your pokedex AFTER beating the elite 4....

Classic Megaman Series...At least 7 and 8 had Megaman pointing out that Wily uses the same 'I'm sorry, I'll never do it again!' line every time you blast his butt into oblivion. 7 was slightly better for Megaman being a second away from going Maverick all over the old punk...But then he blows it.
