Since I'm getting a NDS for my girlfriend, do you think there are games more suitable for girls? Any suggestion? Thank you folks :schmoll:

NintenDogs always seems to be a winner for the ladies. From my experiences, at least.

ALL games are suitable for girls. ...But as a a girl, I like Fire Emblem, Harvest Moon, pet games, and Pokémon, and I've met a decent number of girls who feel the same.

I expected Bratz, Catz, Fashion and such which I think were made for girls. But I've found out that girls also play the games I play such as the strategy genre and Pokemon so there is not much distinction.

All games are suitable, come on. I'm female and I play pretty much every genre. A better question would give us more details so we can give better suggestions? But, as a girl, I've enjoyed the Phoenix Wright games, Pokemon, the Final Fantasy remakes, Zelda and The World Ends With You. Got a couple of simpler games like Cooking Mama, Tetris and Mario Party too.

The best thing is proabably Nintendogs, it is very popular and sounds fun. Girls like taking care of dogs. It also depends on age and what genre she likes. You also cant go with any Mario or platform game. Brain Age 2 is also a good game that is fun, but she might think you think she is stupid and take it offensivly (which i doubt).

I started off with Zelda and I think it's one of the best games for DS so far. I also enjoyed Professor Layton. Puzzle Quest is not bad if you like games like "Bejeweled". Now playing the new Crash game, also thinking to try the new Spyro game.

Many of the gamers that are girls that i know, and i try to find as many as i can because i think its awesome for them to play even though most guys are against them, play just about everything just ask her and i am sure she wont steer you wrong. But, if anything go with Zelda or The New Super Mario Bros. both are excellent games in my opinion.
