i've had pretty good success with the pokemon franchise myself, but i do beleieve that what game is best for someone it is more dependant on who they are than what their gender is

Look around. Look at some games and then watch some videos and see if she'd like them.I don't know your girl friends tastes in things and what she likes to do so I can't be of much help.

Super Princess Peach is really fun. I actually like the game, and my little sister can play it with no problem.

"suitable for girls" isn't really accurate. It's more of what she's into. Not: girls as a generalization

My girlfriend has tried zelda (phantom hourglas) on ds and she really likes it because of the gameplay which is very easy (you can do everything with the pen!) and because of the story. she has also enjoyed to play to trauma center.

It really depends on their personality. Just because you're a female or a male doesn't automatically mean you'll like a specific type of games. Seriously, don't just get them a cute little game with pink, fluffy animals and stuff (I don't even known if there is a game like that) just about they are a girl.

The easiest way to find games for girls is to use the "search-function".Just put the keyword "horse", "pet", "baby", "animal", or others.I have two girls (6 and 13 years), and with this games you're right all the time. And the end, it depends on the age the kids have. I put all roms in special folders, sorted by release-age (3, 6, 12, 16 years). And only the games which are suitable, they have access to.GreezRollo
