I think Robotnik would win because he's got machines and technology to overpower Bowser, who really just has brute strength.

Let's look at the facts. Bowser is a gigantic turtle/dragon hybrid, and Robotnik is a technological genius. Bowser is more than capable of holding his own against many opponents (except Mario, of course), and Robotnik never seems to learn from his mistakes (i.e. his constant battle with Sonic). I think Bowser would win.

Bowser cause he was one of the first villains, plus nintendo are still doing things with him but i havent see much new sonic (and therefore robotnik) stuff around.

that's obvious, Bowser. the only villian with enough balls to come back and challenge mario, defeat after defeat! MARIO! losing to mario isnt easy, anyone who can take a beating from mario, and not only survives, but comes back for more is one solid dude! B) so yeah, bowser will come up victorious every time!

Also gonna go with Bowser on this one. He may essentially be nothing more than a gigantic fire-breathing lizard, but he could take out Robotnik no sweat. If nothing else, he could always stomp on him.

It would be neck to neck but I think Bowser would take the cake. Bowser seems meaner.
