Out of the two I would have to say swordmasters, but Berserkers are by far the best class!!!

I would choose assassin over swordmaster. When I have Jaffar, Matthew, and Legult as assassins, they just wipe out every single enemy including generals and palidin because of the 1 hit KO. While swordmasters, they basically suck against armor knights and caliviars. They can't even do a decent damage against them. So I vote Assassins own swordmasters.

i usually go for rouge like characters in most games, because i like being stealthy, but swordmasters are my faavorite in this game. although, i do like thieves more than myrmidons

ASSASSIN FTW!!!!!! well my choice is obvious.swordmaster has great critical but i like the assassins look more plus they have 1 hit kill

Swordmasters are better in my opinion. They get a boosted Critical Hit percentage and when you assign a Killing Edge or Wo Dao it is a 60% or higher chance of doing 3x the damage. Hence killing any unit in one hit. Absolute best class in the game by far.

i would say assasins just because of the one hit ko they could own anyone even if they did 0 dmg so ya

Assassin, definitely. If you can sneak up behind someone and off them in one swift motion, there's not much anyone can do about it. >3

both have high damage but assassins have low hp making them easily killed..the have high evasion but still swordmasters are stronger..no wonder swordsmen are always the lead characters.. hehe

I think that the Swordmasters are better just because they don't rely on their incredibly high crit rates. They have a naturally higher strength and btw they look way cooler

i pick assassians cuz if ur swordmaster doesn't do enough damage then it won't matter if you crit or not
