Though critical percentages can be as high as the 30s and 40s and it still take quite a few tries to pull one off, I've found One-hit kills had been far more rare, so I'd choose Swordmasters. They seem more powerful anyway.

much prefer heroes to either, but given a choice between the two, swordmasters everytime. they are just better.

I like swordmasters, because your thieves should be off on their own stealing, while your myrmidons are the ones that are doing the fighting. I can never get my thieves promoted unless I activly try. (Although I guess if you're playing FE8 it doesn't matter)

I like Assassins better. :PI always promote one of the myrmidons in FE8 as an Assassin, Usually Joshua, because I get him earlier.They get better sight, evasion, and the one hit kills are awesome (I usually beef their Luck up in the creature campaign for more crit. chance).You can also give them lockpicks and they can replace one of your Rogues, if you lost em.

Oh man, this was tough. Swordmasters probably though, because if you use SCs on them and add a Killing Edge to them they are BEASTS.

I just love Swordmasters, because of their look when they either stand normal and do nothing or when they do a critical. ^^'It just looks nice :awesome:But Assasins are nice as well :DEven the word "swordmaster" sounds epic

I see that the poll has "Other" in it. Anyways, SwordsMASTERS are cool, and so are Assassins. I'm not talking about their physical appearnce, they are just good. I vote for other because I would choose a magician or a red mage because i like swords and magic.

I never liked using the assassin class and swordmaster is one of my favorites.
