Could movies be put on DS cartridges?

I think you should be able to store movies on cartridges if you have the correct computer adapter, but i doubt you could play them (or even access them) on your DS.I would like to know whether or not movies could be put on the DS cartridges. Probably not because they havn't made any. But i would still like to know why.

I have one, and i tried too, but its not worth it, unless u have a lot of space. A typical two hour movie left me with room for only 3 small games. I saw a vid on youtube that taught u how, but i wudn't reccommend it. Of course, i only have a 1GB card, so maybe thats y. It takes a lot of effort, patience, time and it usually has horrible quality.im pretty sure you can using r4ds, i think you can almost put anything on your ds like music, movies, roms, etc but im not positive about the movies. ive even heard of somebody using msn messenger on their ds with the r4ds
