I like single battles because of the extra EXP. Double battles are more interesting, but I'm usually battling to level up my Pokemon.

Single battles of course. It give you a chance to use all 6 of your pokemon

Single battle, Double battles dont no matter to me. I do whichever when im in ta hood as long as i be hustlin dem busta's out of there paper i don't care what type of battle it is.

i prefer single battles because there's less variables to worry about allowing you to concentrate on the strategy and other things like that.

I prefer single battle, in double i feel is a race to beat 5 pokemon then an actual battle to six. Though contest are alright i feel it was more of a chore.

I think double battles are fun, but you could hit your other pokemon with surf or something. So to be able to do things better, I think I would go with Single battle.

pokemon contest!not that i really prefer it. but i think its the most interesting out of the few.have always imagined for pokemon games to include smth out of the normal 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 pokemon battles.the world of pokemon is so much more exciting that just battling!

I much prefer single battles. I agree, double battles can be interesting, but having played the series from the start I feel the double battles are kind of gimmicky, and just there for the sake of claiming a 'new feature' has been added to act as a selling point.

I like double battles, because one of my best pokemon is fly and attack the enemy without being hit by another attack of pokémon earthquake and so the fight becomes much easier and faster because it does not affect the other negatively, and only help themselves. They form a great duo.

Double battles are more fun: more elements to strategize about, more thinking is necessary. Plus u get to kill two pokemons at once ;P

The thing that makes doubles so good is that you have to think about all moves in use, and plan around it. Someone who would normally use earthquake without thought winds up killing their own team. I think that people get frustrated because their standard strategies don't work as well, but overall it makes it better to me.

double battles are quite entretaining, but i prefer still the single ones, i grew up with single battles and they cant be replaced!

Single battles of course.Although I suppose double battles take more stratagie, or maybe not.I always just loved a good 1 on 1 battle, always having a best pokemon and using him to conquer everything. ^^

i prefer single battles. double battles really take the fun away from the pokemon games since moves could hit both or heal both ect. single battles show the main strategy in pokemon

Double battles? More elements of strategy involved there. Although I do wish gamefreak would add more double battle specific moves just to create a better battle 2x battle dynamic.

i like single battles mostly because i like useing some moves that might get my other pokemon killed if i was in a double battle.
