Is there a cheat for it, or can I hack the SRAM or savestates?Or, just give me a good reason of why I should play battles over and over again. It's so monotonous and boring. RPG should be more dialog and less fights.

A good reason to fight battles over and over?Hmm...Well, there's always the fact that fighting enemies often gives you EXP, which makes the late game much, much easier to get through, which in turn makes the final boss several times less likely to kill you.

There are a few unavoidable battles, but like Sir VG said, if you wait for some creatures to move, or go around the back way, there are definitely ways to avoid most battles. But the game is often set up so the first run through of a new area, you are forced to fight nearly every creature. Sometimes the game even persists, making you fight numerous more battles even after you've cleared the area. For example, the Lost Sanctum required that you traverse the part to the south of the Reptites' village many many times and there's always that one battle in both time periods where you're forced to fight rat-things. I agree, it can be a pain in the ass, but you have to deal with it.It's just part of the game!
