I don't know why I put music in My Xbox 360, I don't even listen to them, I only listen to the music that the games have. In truth I kind of hate it, but... WHY DID I EVEN PUT IT IN IF I'M NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!

You really should. You'd be surprised how your music could fit in so well with a certain area you are in your game ^^

I have hundreds of Lp's in the basement by my box, and about 10 days of music on my iPod, so I usually just play them when I play online.

I used to play music on my 360... I put four or so albums on before I realized how tedious it was.I have my laptop (almost always) in the same room, with a speaker set, so I just blare whatever I feel like listening to.I have around 24 days worth of music, plus about 15 albums I still need to add to my library... so I never get bored.

When I was playing through the Sonic games I usually blasted Dragonforce. They seemed to fit perfectly into the speed of the game.

I do when I'm tired of repetitive game music. Normally I listen to metal and hard rock when I do this. XD

Sometimes I listen to music instead of the game's music, just to keep me pumped up and paying attention to finishing a long level. Rock and metal I found were the best when playing fighting games like Dynasty Warriors and other role playing games. What ever announcement is made during game play you can read anyway! Hahahaha!

I used to have music on my hard drive, but it's all deleted now. Anymore if I want to listen to music while online in Halo or something similar I'll just plug in the I-pod.

Yeah, I don't see the point of listening to music while on my Xbox360, only if the music in the game really sucks but as Shroom said I have my computer right next to me so I just blare my music on here If I wanted which I sometimes to.

If I'm doing something tedious in a game I will, but otherwise, I feel too guilty. Like, some games, like Halo, have really good soundtracks, and I feel like I'd change my first impression of the game if I listened to my own music. However, if I've beaten the game before, or am playing online, I sometimes will. However, I don't have to deal with the guilt of wasted space, because I just stream music over the home network to my Xbox anyways. >=(

Whenever I'm playing a racing game over xbox live, I like to plug in my ipod, set up a nice playlist and get a good vibe going so I can concentrate on getting 1st.

I never listen to music. I feel like I need to here what's happening in the game even if I hate it.

I always listen to music I dont put it too loud but enough so it can kinda hype me up for an online game(usually madden) and start playing, its quite pleasing to be hearing music when playing

I always listen to my own music instead of the games music, cos a lot of game music gets really repetitive and annoying.

I used to listen to music alot when i was to play what ever i was playing. I recentally stoped a while back ago and i have realized that it really messes up your gameplay if you do. I'm manily talking about online play.
