define a flow, use more than one color, blend in your render darken a bit, don't be too bright, ruins it, a little over contrasted.

Really needs flow. Saturated and the colored c4ds really ruin it. Colors are too extreme.

Well, you know...To improve, I think it's better to stay away from c4d renders altogether if they're not yours. Pick a stock and then use all defaults. It'll force you to fiddle with things, which is good for you. If you want to make patterns and w/e, make your own.. otherwise you'll become too dependent on other people.Fiddle with adjustment layers. Levels, curves, gradient maps and the lot.BTW, it might just be my monitor, but I don't see how the colours are too extreme or how it's too bright. It looks so-so. But the other's are right, the c4d bits on the left side stick out too much, and they're overly saturated. The reason why it doesn't flow is because the c4d renders are sticking out all over the place. If you rearranged them like this for example, \\\\||||| /// without other bits and pieces sticking out in other directions it would sorta flow. If you don't get it, I don't know how to explain it. I'm a noob :\It might look better without the border and text though.
