al fantasy 10 has the most awsome story line.i dont know if anyone else has noticed but final fantasys 7 works as a much later squel to it. if u want to know why then ask me and i shall tell u

FFX was one of the greatest games that came out PS2. Kingdom Hearts would definitely be the runner up.

Out of all the games on the list that I've played I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts the most.I was really excited about this game before it came out even though a lot of people said it was a bad idea.What!? Disney meets Final Fantasy? Yes please! o.O

Returns To Arms was fantastic, it served me a lot better than Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2 ever did, because I had played the original Dark Alliance and was kinda disappointed by the sequel.

From that list I simply had to choose 'Dark Cloud 2'. I adored that game and played the life out of it. I must have played from start to finish about 10 times, always ensuring I done everything the best I could. I loved the inventing siqeduest, and also being able to plan your own settlements and recruit people etc... Also, I thought the graphics were amazing. The voice acting, however, could have been a bit better I suppose!

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 is a great game and one of the few rpg games I've played that have a good working multiplayer mode. MY friend and I finished the game and enjoyed every minute of it.

kingdom hearts of course: terrific story line, original combat system and really great ost music. Also brings back lots of childhood memories

I think for me is kingdom heart, a really good and worth trying action rpg games that won't bored you compares to others which is easily get bored.

Hm... From the list here I'm going to go with FF-X Because of it's touching story line, deep character build up and various endings (although getting them is a different story...). Anyway, FF-X2 is second because it continues from where X left off. Kindom Hearts a close third though...

um, mine is not on here, but it is a major precursor for all the battle tacticalities and themes for the modern final fantasy games you all play and love today.My favorite RPG, is Chrono Trigger.

A lot of other unlisted RPGs are better than these ones you know. I would have gone for Suikoden III or King's Field: The Ancient City myself if we're only talking PS2 games. The Baldur's Gate games were surprisingly fun. My cousin and I rented both games and stayed up all night to beat them. A very enjoyable experience all around. Rockin' them dwarves, and secret character in the first game, Drizzt Do'Urden? Yes, please!

For me Kingdom Hearts. I loved the gameplay the graphics were good it had such memorable Characters both new and old, fans of different games and cartoons, would have something to relate to and the storyline was amazing.

That's a fairly poor list you've got there honestly. The majority of those are action RPGs, which is a fun and great genre when done right, but not really what most people think of when they hear RPG.

I was also disappointed to see Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2 on there. While the dark alliance series was certainly good, it doesn't hold a candle to the classic series, which includes Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn. This is not only my favorite RPG of all time, but my favorite game as well.

Sorry to bash your poll dude, but the choices were very poor.

Of those listed. I would go with Dark Cloud 2

The sad thing is that of the listed ones, Harvest moon is above all of them, and harvest moon is at the bottom of my list of favorite RPGs. the top being spots for me belong to Dragon Warrior/Quest 3 and some others I can't remember off hand.

I suppose out of everything there i'll have to say Kingdom Hearts.

That was pretty fun, although technically i've only played KH2. But it was still one of the best games i've played.
