hi, I need help with how to do brushing and whatnot, I know there are a bazillion tutorials in Duce's thread, but most of it is special effects, I haven't found anything as simple as brushing, so if someone can give me some advice, or just point out a really simple tutorial, then I'd be grateful. (I checked out about 15 different sites before posting this :locked:)

Brushing is just a bunch of random clicks using a variety of diffrent brushes...most of the time.Just start a black bg and the get some abs brushes make sure you set your foreground color to white and then click away, mess around with the layer modes but thats not really nessecary *did I spell that right* to make a have good brushing on a bg. Just practice till you find something you like then keep practicing. Hope you find this informative, any questions just ask =S

nope: it's "necessary" :)I'll give you a step by step tutorial:1. Go to Deviant Art and look for Abstract Brush sets under Resources - I've found some good ones there...2. ... do what Fallen Angel said :locked: lolWell, once you try brushing you'll get the feeling for it - it's really easy...you just fill out the space with brush "spots". Even if you only have the faintest graphical talent, you should automatically create a balanced composition out of those spots (if you want to, that is).
