But isn't the Halo graphics engine property of Bungie Studios?I doubt that Gearbox would change an already winning formula.

They already made a prequel, two actually. The Halo graphic novel is a prequel and Halo Wars is a prequel.i think they should make a halo prequel because i think it would be sick seeing lots of spartans in action!
What do the graphics have to do with anything?Gearbox has more than enough resources to make a new engine, or they could just use the Brothers in Arms engine. But no, the graphics engine is no property of Bungie, and even if it was Gearbox could still use it. Obviously graphics engines are up for grabs if you pay the price. Look at the Unreal Engine. Epic made it, yet Square Enix just used it to make The Last Remnant. So, graphics engines are definitely not an issue when it comes to the next game. But isn't the Halo graphics engine property of Bungie Studios?

I see. I didn't know all that.I wasn't trying to say Gearbox dosen't know what they're doing, that just sorta came to mind as I was reading the posts. What do the graphics have to do with anything?Gearbox has more than enough resources to make a new engine, or they could just use the Brothers in Arms engine. But no, the graphics engine is no property of Bungie, and even if it was Gearbox could still use it.
