yeah, i used to let others play if they wanted to, but it is now abandoned to a small confined box because my little 5 yr old stabbed the stylus really hard into the touch screen when my back was turned, and now it's broken. hence my ds is a toshiba (take out the vowels = tshb which means 'Touch Screen has broken')i think there should be an age restriction for playing with such technolgy

I bought my DS for 30 bux, and it's all scratched up so why not? And if they break it, they are paying for a new one :)

I tend to try not to lend my DS to others based on the rational that if they deface it in anyway, and the thing still works, they're not gonna pay the difference. The only time somebody would buy me a new one is if they crippled it. I'd be so pissed if they scratched the case big time because I would sound silly for complaining about it and the other guy would just brush it off. It's the little things like that that make me want to explode. But if it's somebody I trust, then sure, why not?

Sure, most of my friends aren't the type that would break someone's else item. Even if they did, I'll just make them pay for it (they're all working anyway).

My mum borrows it to play Zoo Keeper sometimes, though whenever she does, I don't get to play it for the next week or so. Which leaves me with a DS Phat with a broken hinge, which annoys me a lot. I'm tempted to buy her a DS Lite for her birthday, that way she can't hog mine XD.As for siblings, my older brother considers most DS games "kiddy" and my younger sister has her own DS, so they don't really need/want to play on it. I wouldn't let any of my other relatives, especially my cousins, near it. In my experience, whenever I lend them a game or console, it's either broken or damaged when I get it back.

I don't let anyone use my DS, after past experiences of letting friends use my things, you'd understand why.
