When I first got my ds lite I didn't let anyone use it. But once it got all scratched after months of continuous use I started letting my friends use it. Now that I have a DSi I let anyone use it. It's funny how our views of "who gets to use our stuff" changes when the particular item or situation changes.

Im cool with letting my friends borrow it, but only if i'm there (and im not playing it!).i agree with the no people under 12 playing it, btw. good call!

yes but i ussualy just lend my games for other games with friends only, i don't trust my brother with my nintendo DS

I wont let anyone play mine cos they use my saved game data!!I only let siblings play my DS. The reason why i don't let friends play my Ds because i would have to bring to school and since I'm in high school, it might get stolen.

I let everyone but my litlle sister play it! my dad my friends etc. She cant play it because anything she touches just BREAKS! for example my 40gb ps3 broke after she played it, it kept freezing on me!.... however there was a silver cloud to this situation because i brought it back and got an 80gb ps3 for free!

I use to let a lot of people use my NDS, but one day while I was walking to school, this girl ran into me and I dropped my DS and it broke the screen. After that I had to get a new one, but now I only let me brother use it.

Recently been away with neice and nephew and we all swapped DS's a couple of times to play each others games, can work out altight if everyone remembers to charge them

I'm verrry possessive of my DS. But I've let my brothers and a few friends play for short periods of time. I'd never let it out of my sight, though... Not that I think anyone I'd lend it to would steal it or intentionally damage it... It's the "unintentionally damage it" part I'm worried about. >_>;

I never trust anyone with my ds, since it's old and somewhat fragile. So I get really ticked if someone plays with it.

HAHA, very interesting. Normally it is with me all the time, even at work! I play it during my break times and while on my way home since it's a long ride...^^; So people cannot really get it away from me...But if i am at home, my partner usually plays it while i'm resting. We share our game consoles often~

I ley my siblings play with it,but usually ends up bad.They keep playing it and I have a hard time getting to play it at all,since they tend to keep my ds in their room.

Nope, I've always been really paranoid about my handhelds. From my Sega Game Gear, up to my special NES edition GBA-SP, to my sadly outdated original DS. I'm too paranoid about scratches from rings/bracelets, accidental droppings, acts of God. lol
