Brushes question

Please gfx expert i need help!I go to deviantart or anywhere else to download brushes, and when i search for brushes there are lots of images, landscapes, shoes, and lots of thing and I dont know what to download.... how do you know which brushes to download??I mean brushes for the background and tech brushes too.Thanks.

They usually give you a screeny of a pic with a combo of all brushes in a pack.Download it and you will just see what brushes you get.If its rubbish, download more.

thnx but how do i know if they are bad? what should they be like??and just more question (knew and forgot):what are grunge, tech, and the other type of bruhses? nad what for each one?thnaks!

You will know if they are bad because they wont look good.And as for grunge and tech and stuff, they are just the style of the brushes, nothing big.

Just experiment.If your using a render, build you style around it.Find a suitiable colour, and keep brushing, over and over.Key word : experiment.

You can, dont have to.Ive made quite a few sigs, the best of them ive not used colour balance at all.Just brush in an appropriate colour/s, or ones you think are good.
