I bought my PSP on the launch date, sitting in front of Best Buy for hours to be the first in line, freezing my donkey off, forkin out over 300 bucks for it, and every single little bit was worth it. As soon as I turned it on and saw those awesome waves fly accross the screen, I knew. This was gonna rock. I personally give the PSP a 9.5, because it it perfect, with the exception of it being so darn fragile. I guess that's a good thing, though, because it forces me to take good care of my investment. My advice to anyone who hasn't got one yet: get one. now. and get the warrantee, not because it will have problems, but because at the end of the warrantee you can exchange it for a BRAND NEW one. If some of the games don't do it for you, then the movies, music, photos, web browser, possibility of emulators, homebrew and a never ending list of user-created software definitely will. The PSP is simply put, the best peice of equipment available on the market today, and in my opinion, will not be inferior, until, say PSP 2?

I got my the day it came out...when I got my this other guy came in and asked if gamestop had any psp for sell...of course if you didn't reserve one you can't get one...

PSP-yeah the battery life sux but u could buy a 7 dollar pak that will triple your battery life. so thats not really an issue. psp media wise is aiight it sux i gotta pay as much as a new ipod to get 2gb or memory. but the game are kinda dry as of now but looking forward to the fall selection. n im still searchin for tight gamer skins for the psp. they have a big selection of those on ebay. from star wars to bob marley. as for psp goes. its not big right now but im not regretin buyin it

Bought it like..uh..2 weeks after it's release. Came with Spider-man 2 movie 8)Got NFSU: Rivals, pretty awesome game, but I must admit that's the ONLY game I've played on the PSP (and the only one I have) :(Yeeahh.. I've only been using my PSP because I updated to 2.00 (It adds an extra menu...which is A WEB BROWSER). And of course, I've been using it to look at porn, which I know most of you must do this as well

I would use the psp as a media player if i bought it....but i heard the universal media discs store very little data and does not support many files. I would buy the PSP if it would play more supported files

I got a PSP only a few weeks or so ago, and I have updated it with the Japanese 2.0 firmware. Now that the American 2.0 firmware has come out, I have heard that having the Japanese firmware may/may not void my warranty. Can anyone give a definite answer for this? And can anyone tell me if it is possible to overwrite the Japanese firmware with the American one if I need to, or do I have to wait for a further firmware upgrade?

PSP out in shops in Adelaide in force...pretty much every store was sold out yesterday.....not buying one yet as I'm a student who CANNOT afford $500 (after game, otherstuff added on) for a handheld machine.!)@*! I thought Nintendo was a bit pricy with their DS and their accessories but Sony has just gone bananas...half the movies were twice the price of their DVD version and the accesories...chips and over stuff...at this rate it'llbe a long time before I can get one of them.Not liking what I've heard from those who've actually bought it...(pretty much everyone else in my course got their parents to shell out for them)...but I won't say that here.

i got a psp but ihad to sell all my games to get it. i sold almost all of my ps2 games and i hav a 256mb mem. stick mlb and a usb cable. steveo do u hav aim screen name cuz i need help getting back rouns to work on my psp. i just need the % folder. i would appreciate it if u would help me
