psp has its pluses and minuses. both psp and ds are different in their own way and the choice depends on what somebody likes. i chose psp because i dont want to use it mainly for games. sometimes i'm jealous of the ds owners for those games but psp was a choice i won't regret and i'm sticking to it.

The Psp is in no way the best handhold. Sure its got better graphics, but that about it.Ds has better games. DS has more games. DS games are fun to play. DS is innovative. DS is better.

PSP is not the best handheld system in my opinion. It is my opinion that the DS is the best system. For games at least.I have played ONE GAME on the PSP that I didn't hate that wasn't a remake. I've loved every DS game I've purchased. So there! :X

I'm going to have to say yes, however, I still think the design of it isn't that great and leads to a bit more hand cramping than a good portable should. It's just capable of so much hardware wise, psone emulation, web browsing, genesis / nes / snes emulation, movie and music playing, and so forth. Not to mention, it also has some good PSP games.

Well, If you think about it, Nintendo has the whole process of handheld devices down pat. So Sony emerging with a "next generation" portable have it compared to a system that was generally unrivaled (bye bye Sega Gamegear *tear*) is mind blowing...but all Nintendo has to do to blow anything out of the water (handheld wise) is do what sony did....pretty much just make a lil computer :wtf:NOw with that said, the possiblities of the PSP are endless, so yeah, it is not the best but it could very well be in the future maybe a PSP 2 LMAO

When it comes to good games, I would say the DS. Just look at the lineup.

Hmmm.... I don't think so.I believe that the Nentindo DS is better but only because I like the games that are on the Nentindo....Yeah...*is a poke'-tard*Chyeah...But other then that, I would like to have both and say that the Nentido DS is better but then again I think of the fact that Namco is on the PSP and that just overall makes it all the way even. So, my conclusion is that it is even with the Nentido DS in my book. ^-^

Yeah I like the Psp. I have a DS and A PSP and i can clearly say that the PSP is better. The DS Hasnt had any decent games out for ages and the PSP i can play all my GBA Games and PSX games on it. I think that the DS is for a younger market to be honest...

Ehh i got my PSP when it first came out and after a while i got bored of it. Loses its appeal. The shortage of games and now places are removing the UMD movies. And a good memory card equals the price of a PSP system itself

Yeah, this pretty much sums up where I am with it. I've got an xbox and xbox 360, so sometimes it's hard to go 'down' to a handheld as well. I was really impressed with the system at first, but now it just seems like Sony is pretending it's a next gen system rather than using it's power to make excellent hand-held games. I still pull it out once in a while, but it just doesn't hold my interest.

i've stopped playing my psp a while ago. i just use it once in a while to listen to music since i dont have an mp3 player. now that i have my ds though, i might just switch to that after i get the G6 Flash.

Well I stopped for awhile after I got the 2.81 Firmware (since I couldn't emulate anymore)but now that I have the 1.5 again I started using it for homebrews and such.
