psp is more for adults, it has more violent games but way better graphics than the DS. It also is better if you like to listen to music and watch videos. I dont like the DS that much. Its a Bit childish. But sometimes i get the feeling im missing out on alot. thats why i get emulators.

get urself a ds and hack it, trust me although psp can also b hacked the most enjoyable thing about it is that u can play free games and customize ur psp how ever u likeds, hack it and u get practically every feature the psp has along with playing games for free i own both and after hacking both handhelds, ds by far is better, only thing that i can think of ds losing to psp to is that psp can take pictures... thats about it :Dsure psp can text message but ds has picto chat and everyone loves picto chat lol enuff said

all depending on what u want to do with the machine... if u just want to play some ps1 game on the go... psp is the way to go. but if u want creative new game, then should go for nds. but of course, if u r not a gamer, and just want to do all other stuff your ipod does, then psp still is a good choice

um.... i think it is worth geting cos its portable and fun, and i don't cos i had one with carbon and liberty city stories, for about a week i cloked gta within 2-3 hours an carbon kept on crashing so did the PSP so i sold it, so if i were u buy the dslite or a PS3

i would say buy a psp cos it has very good graphics and easy gameplay as well as the ability to use a memory stick pro duoto store music games and pics.i have one and a ds lite and i think the psp is better but the games are more expensive than the ds games.

Yes. Simple word. Psp's are so overrated i have one they are pathetic. the only decent thing is..the games msuic internet. ok i admit it. PsPs are like totally brilliant.

I dont think its over-rated I think its a little underated it should be enough to take on nintendo i the hand-helds but its not even close realy (even though they release films for the sole purpose of it)

Hehehe. It's interesting to see how the opinions changed from those March 06 posts to these 07 posts.Personally, I much prefer the DS. I couldn't wait to get my PSP, but... then there weren't that many great games for it. Not many of them had that cool Japanese-ness that the DS games have.I would buy a DS, and find another way to listen to music/watch films on the go.

I was wondering if a PSP was worth it. I mean, what sorts of things can it do? What kinds of games are there on it? Are the majority of the games fun? Can you directly download stuff like songs to it? And one last question... Is it worth having, and would I have fun with it?

i was undecided wheter to get a psp or a gp2x and am soooo glad i went with the PSP. i play it much more than the NDS.One of the biggest bonuses about it for me is the fact it plays MPEG-4

The PSP is totaly worth it the graphics are awesome and it have some good games in all catagories like action, racing, sports, ect. On the psp you can listen to music, watch videos and movies look at photos and aloso store these things on to it on a memory stick duo. actually, it really depends. the psp is multifunctional, but the games are quite expensive. if u have a lot of money then it is quite worth it
