Definitely worth every cent. MP3, MP4, WiFi internet access, and picture storage are all freaking awesome.

The PSP is good because it has good grafix and nothing else right now compares.

no it's not. since you've registered and posted here, i assume that pc is yours.why don't you try upgrading you pc (if you haven't)? maybe a new graphics cardor more memory?nowadays, it's cheaper to get an upgrade for pc than buying the latest handhelds.that's one of the reason this site was created. so we can download roms...

When I first bought my PSP I was in love with the massive amount of multimedia usefulness I had at my fingertips. It is good for virtually anything and the large screen is great for playing games, watching movies, etc. Though I don't feel like I got my full experience from it until I learned about the "downgrade" to custom firmware method. That hack enabled me to optimize my enjoyment of the PSP. So all in all, yes, the PSP is worth it!

I guess this really depends on you... I will honestly say NO, because I didn't buy it but rather got it for Christmas and all I've done with it is listen to music and maybe surf the web. All in all, the PSP in my personal experience battery life when playing games drains like a fat kid on cake. And for games it's pretty much if you've played almost all the games on PS1 you'll be playing them again.

Like Xtnod said it really depends on you, and if you like the games that are out for it, if you want to get it simply because it can play movies and music then I would say no because you can get a portable dvd player for cheaper. But If you think you'll make good use out of the games then go ahead and get one

Is the PSP worth the money? I'm saving up money either to get a new phone, or PSP. Which one should I go for?

Yes, there's a lot to do. You can even run ROMs / Emulators on it! It's a very good price. Depends though, the DS is a good alternative. Just your opinion I guess.
