cant agree more...-_-" if you want to chat, then you should use your pc not PSP, the advantages of this godly device is its amazing graphic and audio functions...the games are the same sony release to the PS, if you like sony and the PS games, PSP is your thing, Takken, DB, grand turismo... i LOVE the psp games, the UMD is weak i agree but i dont use it, all you need is couple of memory disks and you can play hundreds of games, songs and movies, i use my PSP mosly for watching movies and listening to music, the quality is amazing and because of the small screen, movies weight like 200MB for a 2 hours DVD quality movies...also if your friends got PSP the multiplayer options with the PSP works great! no wires and it works really good, the internet works good too, but the browsers in the early versions are kinda crappy, so if you wanna surf it is not very comfortable but the internet multiplayer options work very good...some things that are anoying is the PSP short lifespan of the battery, and the device is very fragile, the screen is not protected so you can break it very easily...in the overall, this device is amazing, much better the DS is you ask me, although i love Nintendo games much more then sony, but the quality of the PSP is superb, and there is no real reason of the dual screens, its just an extra screen that you see your options there, you cant play movies or music and the design... looks like a lunch box and not a handheld console... the DS is very protected from scratches though, you can throw it out of a driving car and nothing will happen to it.

yes, it is worth buying.. maybe more worth it if you like great graphics on a small console..but if u really like fun with a little bit of laughter, choose DS

PSP sucks IMO. Most the games are already in PS2/1 and even in PC, which I already own. Even if you say it plays music/videos, my phone does the same and an iPOD does it better. DS is more fun to play. Whoever said that DS games are for kids is a kid himself who is trying to act big.

Well the PSP is pretty cool because if can play movies, music, and hold videos but alot of people think the DS is better because of the kind of games the PSP lacks. I agree with them.

You can watch movies on it, listen to MP3s, watch photo's, and off course play games. The PSP has same type of games as PS2 and PS3 have. So its pretty cool.

The only good feature is the music player and the access to internet. Also while in the interenet you can chat with your buddies with ebuddy.com. Typing is slow but worth it while your travelling.

Of course the PSP is good you can Play, Listen, Watch, Type it has many features in one so you can enjoythe fun of having a PSP .The PSP (In my opinion) is the #1 Portable system ever created.

I dont think its that great very crappy games and the batery life is like 30 min if you are playing a movie

of course its great, and even better if you install 1.5 or an oe fw because you can have homebrew, emulators and lots of stuff you dont get with a sony fw

I dont really like it. Unless you buy an expensive Duo i wouldnt recommend buying one. All the features are good but the nnumber and the quality of the games are not as popular. Puzzles and ps1 ports.

If it wasn't for the PSP, the DS never would've come out and we'd still be paying $40 bucks for 16-bit cartridges on the GBA. The DS was nintendo's answer to the newly released PSP. Yep it's true :flappy:
