I've never had a problem getting the PSP into my pocket. The thing i don't like is that you have to put it in the protector sleave so you don't scratch your nice screen.Overall though i love my PSP good games, good graphics and so many other things you can do. I've even used it to store pictures on to show my friends. Music i haven't really used a lot unless they start putting the option in games so that you can play your MP3s in game.

I got mine on the 20th. Honestly, I'm completely addicted to Ridge Racer, and now all of the funny stuff I find on the net I can show off to my friends. ^_^

i got mine the other day and im impressed, but the only thing bad i have to say about it was when i took it out of the box, it had all kinds of scratches on the screen and i hadn't even done anything with it!

Then you should return it. You shouldnt have to pay $250 for a damaged system.

it depends on your own taste, it has the use of DVD, music, and of course, gameplay, and some other stuff i think i don't know (i don't own it). but it's a pretty good price for a multi-purpose multimedia machine

....speak english....*ahem*No, he doesnt hate the PSP for the fact that it can play movies, hes questioning that ability, and I dont blame him for questioning it, really, who the hell wants to watch a movie on such a tiny screen, why dont I just get a projector that will project movies onto my thumb, then I can get a magnifying glass and watch it through that :(

on the other hand, they could have left more of a open architecture on the psp, and allowed for a seperate dvd plug in or something,

...mmhmm...right, when we have dvd players for that...kinda defeats the purpose of putting the movie on the PSP memory thingy then doesnt it...

You know there is software out there you can download that can convert movies from mpeg. format into the format PSP uses (i dunno the format). Just connect the PSP via USB and download it on the PSP and enjoy. What Sony is doing is revolutionary. Overall we should not be critisizing the DS & PSP. Yes the graphics do not compare to XBOX or PS2 but consider how much LIGHTER, SMALLER and PORTABLE they are. You can play N64 games at the palm of your hands anywhere anytime. It is trully amazing!

Hey, it is not completely bad. I download most of my movies, or borrow them anyway. But there are some people who would want to watch movies portableally (is that a word?) and not carry around a portable DVD player. They can just buy a PSP and play games, as well as watch their movies for a smaller price (most UMDs cost a lot less than DVDs).

I could see a day when PSP rental is availble for cheap or maybe the the UMD itself can be brought at a cheap price. It's a good alternative to carrying around a portable DVD player (which is still quite heavy and not very portable) on say a plane trip or long bus ride etc. but until the price drop.. i' won't spent a cent on itP.S Sony should bundle them with their DVD releases

PS1 quality games!?!?! Its more like PS2 quality. And its not that you can play games and watch movies. Its that you can do all that as well as listen to music and view pictures in a small portable package. IMO its definitely worth the money.

so if u guys were to recomend the ds or the psp, you would recomend the psp because i have enough money for the psp and i was wonderin if it is worth the price.

This psp is very much worth the price it if a very nice game I have used one not own I the moment I started playing I fell in love with it the screen in big witch I like for a better look other than trying to see some thing and it play dvd that are made for it it is very cool thing that Sony had made so buy one. What Sony should do with the Battery life problem to that they should have a small battery pack and a external battery pack so that with the external is going dead you have the internal one do that it will allow you to change the external for a other one and you can charge the external one. the internal one is just to keep the game on so that you do not lost your game play or and data like when you are in the save mode. It is like have external batter so that you can charge up and take with you and you have hour and hours of game play.
