has to be beyonce. she seems more down to earth and in touch with the real world. it seems like she really means what shes singing.mariah carey on the other hand seems too diva-sh and demanding and only singing so that she'll stay famous and make money.

I don't really care about their music, even though I'm a music man. It's not even their own music, since they can't really compose. So then it comes down to their singing abilities. Well, I don't really care about that either, because it's all shallow stuff. Both look hot, though, and that's pretty much all they're good for.... and economy, of course.

Why do you think she had a video with the "Geek Squad"?Beyonce right now to me has her owned, but that doesn't me she doesn't compare, because Mariah can sing when she wants. Beyonce is starting to fall short of the recent song she made called, "If I were a boy". Mariah's been around longer and is more experienced.But Beyonce has better potential than Mariah did when she started out.So Beyonce's better.Besides, her songs have meaning.Mariah's are all about seductivity and sex.

i'd honestly say Mariah. Not on the personal stuff and all that(i don't have a clue about that) but i think the songs Mariah sings are better than Beyonce.

i think the old mariah is better then beyonce, but the newer version....not so much back in the day she had to work for her money and music; now it doesn't require any effort, so she doesn't put any in.
