Probably one of the main reasons why this is coming out, to nullify flashcart compatibility. Then just watch as NDSi games start coming out... Heh...Hopefully flashcarts will still remain compatible
You're going to be waiting a long while. The NDSi Isn't going to be hitting outside Japan well into 2009 due to the sole reason that "There is currently still much demand for the current model of the DS Lite in the US." As quoted by Reggie himself. They are milking the current cow dry before they bring in a new one.cool this would be another fun for gaming.. hopefully it will come out soon before xmas..i meant not in japan

Speaking of working out, That would be the bad aspect of this. I think thats what he was trying to get across. Not so much as heavy, but big. I couldn't imagine myself working out with a DSL in my pocket, I'd be worried constantly. If your calling a DS heavy, then maybe you should work out. I've been using mine as mp3 player for most of my trips. I'll consider buying this if its still compatible with the current flashcarts
Yep, the outside camera is indeed supposed to be 3MP. But, still, thats nothing to smile about.I kind of like it, as I still have an old ds, so I will be considering considering to buy one. I heard that the outside cam was 3mp and the internal was 0.3mp somewhere. Is that true?

I don't know why, but this seems oddly familiar...Anyways, Since it's going to have a new firmware or something, it will probably cancel out flashcart compatibility. And honestly, if all it was good for is what Bish posted, I wouldn't buy a NEW DS just to play a couple of games.Speaking of working out, That would be the bad aspect of this. Well, I'm not saying it's very heavy. But wouldn't an MP3 player be smaller and easier to carry? Of course, I am definitely buying it because of the cool effects, DSWare, slightly bigger screens, and because I get every new or revised Nintendo console. If your calling a DS heavy, then maybe you should work out.
