It's kinda sad they lost the GBA port D: I still play my old GBA games on my DS lite. The new DSi's features are pretty cool though :P Like a PSP!And ohoh this is just FYI but they wanted DS' to be more personal, thus the i.They realized how many people in a family would share 1 DS :(

I just wished that DSi would be able to play gba games again. What was Nintendo even thinking when they made DSi?

i think DSi not worthy, first theres no gba slot, so there are many games that have secrets of gba things that u cant get, next u dont need an mp 3 player in a DS :D and 3rd its no diference only that u can take pics and higher screens not that much different than normal DS lol not worthy in my opinion

I'm close to get myself one.. got tired of waiting for a white DSi lauch in US... :DFor those who were complaining about the utility of the DSi camera, there's an augmented reality game called Ghostwire in development, which plays with a interesting concept.

Meh, not really. Incidentally the only thing it can do that a modded DS can't is take pics, and a digital camera with good resolution is a more-than-suitable replacement. And considering the cons of not being able to play GBA games, use older mod cards, and play imported games, I'd have to say it's hardly an improvement, and hardly worth paying nearly what an Xbox 360 now costs to get one, imho at least.

I don't think it's worth it either. It's a little (very little) bigger. I wouldn't waste my money if I was you. The R4 is out for it but there are a lot of problems still. A lot of games don't work for it. The internet capability is good but until the world adapt to wifi everywhere, everyone should have a PC or MAC already.

My impressions about DSi:+ The cameras are funny for quickly editing some snapshots of your pals, same for the builtin sound editor. It surely wears off after a while, but it's there.+ safer wireless mode, also for your vacation time (yes I do read emails and news on it)+ faster processors (if you can compare)- my biggest issue: it has no Flash support in the Opera browser (processor still too weak, I wonder how come PSP manages that)- battery life not really impressive- too bad if you aready have GBA-based games, like Guitar Hero (not my problem luckily)So I'd go with the crowd saying: if you already have a Lite, stay with it. If you're a newbie get a DSi.

Hurrah for homebrew programmers out there.A homebrew developer has made a homebrew program to work on the DSi to play GBA games. There's one catch - you HAVE to have the iPlayer flash cart for it to work. There is NO download at this time, so don't ask for it. Just enjoy this video of it in action for now.Programmer's blog: http://darkchen.blog.com/

I think its really worth it. it has a lot of features and you and me might already have an ipod or a camera but some people cant afford all does things so this ds is actually worth buying if you arent able to afford everything else. My nephew is only 8 and he is very happy with his ds because it has all does features. I tryied it and its pretty cool also, i wont mind buying it.

Sincerely, I don't want to buy the DSi. I have all the other things and the difference isn't so big. Which games will come? Well, this can change things.

Ok, I own a DSi and i have a few things to say about these coments.Cons1. camera is as good as a regular cell phone camera (not that great)2. picture editing program is fun for about 5 min.3. its not an mp3 player, its a acc player. It does the same thing but with an annoying conversion stage in betweenPros1. The menu screen is a lot nicer looking2. Internet browsing is free and as good as the PSP's browser3. You can download software, and some of the games are really good. These are some brief points but in my opinion its a tie, but the tie breaker is.. if your willing to give up your GBA games then its worth it.

I bought my DSi a few days ago.. I used to own ndsl until it got stolen, so I thought since I"m buying a new one, might as well buy the DSi. Before, I thought it's just a minor improvement and not worth the upgrade but I was wrong. Even though the screen is just a little bit bigger but you can really feel the difference.. love how you can soft reset, and change cartridge without rebooting.. camera is very low quality but it's still quite awesome with the straight editing and straight uploading it to facebook right from the console. DSi shop is awesome, and flipnote is an awesome application.Browser is so-so, but it's a huge improvement from NDSL.. I can check sites wherever I can find wifi. My best purchase this year.
