I think I'll stick to my DS lite for now. There really aren't any new features about the DSi that I'm particularly excited about.

Yeah...I think I'll stick with my DS Lite. I don't see any point in buying this JUST because of a few new features.

i agree maybe if they keep the gba slot and had a 2 mega pixels camera plus wep key enabled i would think about buying one

The DS has WEP capabilities. It doesn't have WPA though.

Does it really matter what new features it has?Not flashcard support means it isn't worth a damn to anyone in this community. When you can use the SD Card to hack it, then it might be worth an upgrade, but not until then. It will be completely useless for anyone that has an interest in roms. There's the slight possibility that Nintendo didn't make it that hard to hack, which would be nice. Maybe a DSi is like a PSP 1000 with 1.5 firmware. =p

Actually, Mono, there's cards out there that work with it now.Acekard 2i and EZ5i (Technically called the EZVi).EZVi Source: http://gbatemp.net/i...howtopic=123956Acekard 2i Source: http://gbatemp.net/i...howtopic=119886

I'm sure there probably is a way, maybe with some type of FlashMe like process for a bypass, but the system is still new, so give it some time. They may just figure something out.

Its good enough for me, if the gba slot is that important to you, get a emulator or stick with ur lite or phat.If you ask me, new GBA games aren't coming out so the gba slot won't be of much use and there are hardly any games that use a slot2 accessory.

I think I prefer NDS lite than NDSi..The screen at NDS lite is small enough..i don't think it's a good idea to buy NDSi which have smaller screen..

You got it wrong. DSi has a bigger screen. It's 3,25 inches from DSi against 3 of DS Lite.

reckon, it's a bit too much, considering it's like a normal ds but with a little added extra, unless a that person doesn't have a ds, then it would be pretty decient

I will get the DSi, but I'm also going to keep my old DS since the DSi can't play some of the old DS games

DSi is completely useless to me, I have no games for DS whatsoever, I own only GBA games, so I don't think it's worth it personally, my cousin was mad enough the lite did not support GBA color. I'll pass on this one.

Well lately i've just seen Shai posting alot of topics. Anyone going to warn him or is that ok? Topic spamming with just a few titles is really lame. I mean why would you do that? Just for some ROMS? Or just for some cool stuff in the gp store?

What do you mean by GBA Color are you talking about GBC? the DS Phat didn't support GBC so theres no need for your cousin to get mad the lite for no GBC support. As for your arguement your better off with just a GBA instead of a DS if your only playing GBA games.

I don't really think I'd need it since I have an R4 for music already. But I guess I could use that for music too. I may get it when the price lowers after it comes out (I'm a cheapskate =3).

Hi, I have a nintendo ds lite, i think they are great, well ever since they brought out the new R4's any way, but i heard that the new Nintendo dsi won't able you to play the R4's, so i am a bit disapointed really.... So i probably won't buy, well especially not straight away.... All though it does sound great with those new adaptions to it, ie camera / mp3 player etc.... !!THANKS!!
