i think the game is a really good idea. i have been swayed on wether to purchase it or not. im not sure if i would get bored of it. or only read some of the stories.

there's a game called '100 classical book' but they are all classics that have no copyrights eg.jane eyre, sherlock holmes and alice in wonderland. there is also a homebrew app called ands pdf reader that u can download and put on your sd card. this reads pdf files, pdf books can be downloaded off the web

I don't think it would work,Most people are lazy and wait untill somebody makes a movie about the book, and if that doesn't happen they still wouldn't read it, even if everybody likes it... As for me, I'd rather buy the book than download it because I love books and love the sight of a bookcase filled to the brim with all kinds of books

I think there is something like this now... I don't see the point myself, why not just go out and buy the book? With the DS, in all the games you must read anyway, how many games have all the scripts talked out by actors?

I think it would be a good idea. It would save paper and a DS is alot lighter than lugging around books everywhere you go. But as someone had stated, the screen(s) might be a little to small for it to be practical. I mean read small text on paper is bad enough but having to strain your eyes to focus on even smaller text on a small screen. Count me out.

Its a great idea i guess the r4 could be used to integrate that aspect however at this point in time not a lot of people read and those that do prefer to hold a book rather than a ds in their hands where as other have those readers that they carry around with them

portability and convenience yes, but good idea? nobad, because DSs are game systems. When you bring a DS with you to be used at all- are you going to play pokemon or are you going to read? simple question simple answer- no one will actually read with games on the menu...

I use my ds lite to read all the time. I currently use dslibris to read books that I convert to epub. Works great and looks good too. There are also books being released called Flips which are series of novels for the ds. My son is reading the Percy Jackson series. He likes using the ds to read because it saves your place, and there are things to unlock as you read.
