Personally, I prefer both. If I have the system, I'll buy the game. If I don't, I'll find a ROM.

Well i prefer ROMS only on the free note, but I am a collector at heart and really like to own the games as well. Not only is it from a collectors standpoint, but you can play them anywhere on any TV (with the system of course.) And then you can keep them for nostalgic reasons (pull them out and dust them off on a rainy day), or turn them into an investment.

I prefer to play roms. I like to have the game on a bigger screen than on a small game boy's...Although I play PSP games on my PSP ;PI just prefer to have one handheld

The "real thing" tends to be more enjoyable, perse, because you have the weird feeling of playing it on "Console X". Whereas ROMs are a lot better, because - of course - you don't need to pay for them.Depends on if you have plenty of money in real life, or care about the genuine feeling of buying and playing a game....This all sounds really weird, doesn't it?..

the Real game is MUCH better than the rom... if only for the fact that you can't have the rom without the game first... homebrew excluded ('cause most suck)

I prefer the game on the actual console, a lot of times useing a keyboard is much more difficult and it's hard to set the controls properly to get them to where you can get used to them. Plus with newer stuff (like N64) that have joysticks are hard to play and have extra presision if you don't have a joystick and have to stick with the keyboard.

To be honest, I far prefer having the game in my hand. It just gives me a sense of accomplishment and security, or something. Kinda like how I hate buying used games, for some reason.

i prefer the real games :3they're betterand the controls are easierthat and sometimes roms screw up your computer

ROMs make it way easy to play. I love how there's cheats to speed up gameplay (and I mean on emulators). You can have multiple copies of the same game save. But they don't match up to the real thing. Which is making me want to do that.

Roms are free, I have free gameshark, I can save whenever I want, and I can fastforward through the boring parts! >D

I've only played gameboy roms and i see no difference other than its on my computer and not my gameboy so i would stick with Roms
