Now that i have found roms i dont have as much fun having to play with one game then save and take the game out and put another one in.i like roms for another reason and that reason is that they are free.

roms. definitly roms, but only if i have a good emulator. the real thing is good for systems that are a pain to play on an emulator, like ds games.

I like the original games but roms are good to. The roms have cheats and stuff but sometimes depending on where you get the rom from depends on some errors.

ROM's.I'm not rich. If I bought all the ROM's that I downloaded and payed average store price, that'd be several thousand dollars that I don't have.Plus alot of my older cartridges/CD's don't work too well anymore but my ROM's always work (and if they don't I can fix them for free instead of buying a new one).

Well, here's how I see it:Roms: Pros:Free, mostly every game, save anywhere, old games from systems you don't have, cutomizable control Cons:Download confusing plugins, laggy for some computers, no instructionsReal: Cheap sometimes, no lagging(most games), controller, actual gameplay experience, no plugins, online play, new games Cons: Expensive sometimes, expensive systems, no customizable control(most games), must buy controller and memory card.I consider it a tie.

From a purely convenience point of view I just like being able to bring all my ROMs with me in one package... I'd hate to carry 100+ cartridges with me when I travel anywhere!

I like roms better than the real thing because they are a lot cheaper... unless your flashcart breaks which is a real pain

If you want to play with other people, i.e. with a cable then real games for sure. But if you just want to beat a game, and is too cheap/lazy, then get a rom. The save states are also useful for many situations and can make a really hard game totally easy and beatable.

I like the real games, but with ROMS it is easier to cheat. I normally beat something, and then play it on a ROM so I can increase the speed and use cheats.

For old games and GBA its roms cause i cant be bothered to track down old consoles and old games, new stuff, well i cant seem to work emulators for new stuff, but i'd still want to play them on a console

i gotta go with real games. sometimes in FPS games, it's hard to configure the controls right, no matter how much you mess with them.
