Games, definately. Nothing beats using the original controller (yes, I know you can use console controllers on pc. I use a PS2 one).

PC. This way you can save your progress every three seconds on different save slots and beat the game in two days... Then get on to the next game...

Yeah but while you sit here and download all those roms, you are stealing from a developer that made a game you enjoyed. Thats some respect for ya.I use my flash cards and back-up hardware to try unreleased games that never made it to the US and to test games I am not sure I would like.Like the other day I downloaded Super Princess Peach, and I loved it. Downloading and trying it first is a good reason to do so, because I could have hated it and wasted like $30 or $40 on it.When I find a game I like, honestly really enjoy, the first thing I do is go out and buy the game. I have book shelfs, and book shelfs, full of games. I keep all the boxes, cases and books. You wouldn't believe how satasfying it is to look at like 12 book cases full of Nintendo, Super Nitnendo, GBA, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast games, stacked up there and be like, damn, look at my collection.I will always buy the orginal game if I can find it or afford it. Sometimes I still buy them even if I can't afford it. Last month I maxed out my credit card on a bunch of rare PS1 RPGS I shouldn't have bought but did anyways.

It is my stern belief that the T.V. should be used for the newer era of gaming, while the computer can be used for nostalgia with the roms of days past.

I would rather own the game then playing them on the computer but will have to choose the latter, depending on if I'm having trouble finding the game (e.g. Japan-only released games and games that stores stop selling before I had a chance to play it)

If I had a Gamecube, it would have been "regular" games on the television.Alas, I'm stuck with "regular" games on the computer. Warcraft III ain't that bad, ya know. And Rome: Total War is just sweet stuff. But I digress here. Perhaps you could have clarified your topic. I play more ROMs than he real thing, because I usually don't have the real thing.

TV is better, computers are ok but, um, read the stats:Booting order for PC, BIOS>DOS background (Autoexec.bat)>Windows (could take a while)>login (if setup)>desktop.Booting order for a console, Desktop (ish)/or game automaticly starts at boot, well anyway, faster, plus you don't need to upgrade to play a certain gameI don't like to waitCONSOLES ARE BETTER

I like playing them on the comp 'cuz roms are far cheaper than the actual game. Plus there's convenient things like save states and stuff on the comp

It depends. Like you wouldn't want to play multiplayer on computer. And the high end computer emulators aren't so hot.

The thing for me is:-If I had tons of cash I'd totally play them off of the TV, it's the way it was made!BUT!!!!!!!!!!ROMs for me are FARRRR better in pricing because there isn't any, you can have tons more cheats thanks to things like Game Genie and Pro Action Replay codes just on the Emulators. So for now it's ROMs.
