I know that Harvest Moon isn't exactly the most popular PS2 game.Nevertheless, it is a good game.In fact, I really like one of the GBA releases of Harvest moon (Friends of Mineral Town)As for PS2 version, I've only played the 'Saving the Homeland' version and I kind of like it.However, after playing it for couple of times, I kind of got bored with it.So... What are your opinions about Harvest Moon?

Harvest moon is so relaxing and harmonious, so serene, so friendly. It's quite beautiful. I'd absolutely love to live in ANY of the harvest moon worlds. But yes, I also like the gba version the best.

I liked the GB/A versions of the game - surprisingly, HM is an addicting game once you get into it! However, it does get a bit tedious after you've pretty much completed the game. On that note, I've never gotten the 50th Year Anniversary event...I can never be bothered playing that long. I enjoyed Island of Happiness though, coz it gave you goals to complete instead of complete freedom. (Although that's one of the great things about this game.)Never played the PS2 versions, but I imagine they'd be more expansive and thus more fun?

Harvest moon is great, but you have to be careful of how long you play it each day, because it can get boring.

Yeah, the only game from HM I've played so far is Save the Homeland. I find cooking quite addicting. I think the game is pretty fun to play in moderation, like what everyone else said. Doing the chores get too tedious if you play for a really long time.

I once had it in GBA and found that there is one for ps2 so bought one and played save the homeland...so far i still like the gameboy version because i think there was something wrong with the game i bought, it goes lags sometimes and the character walks/runs really slow...but i really like mining there :sniper: i get lots of coins and stuffs there

Harvest can be a bit educational. Especially about the farm life and livestock raising

I'm a big Harvest Moon fan : )The first one I played was one of the really old ones for GBC... But I also own Back to Nature, Magical Melody, A Wonderful Life, More/Friends of Mineral Town, Harvest Moon DS, and Save the Homeland.I'd really like to try the new one for Wii, but unfortunetly I don't own a Wii |D;

Oh, I love Harvest Moon! I have it for the PS2, Wii and Gameboy. (different versions of course) They never get old to me. They are too relaxing and dreamy to do that. I love the variety of living, animals, and land ownership. It is very cool games.

It's the most favorite game to play in my family, since we all play the game(me, my lil bro and my parents, both of them). My mom never gets tired playing Harvest Moon : Wonderful Life, and my dad with his Save the Homeland.My mom is quite stubborn while playing HM WL, she will keep reload the memory(just run into the town, back to title menu :P lols) until she got a huge shark shark fish once a day, it's quite awfully hurt to see her keep reload the game 10 times until she got a Huge shark shark fish(it's cosh around 2000-3000 Gold). And she is aiming to buy a cow in the first day D= or at least second day. Picking flowers, mining O_O talking to Lumina(yes it's her target). I just get bored looking my mom playing so stubborn, so I end up never play the game(she monopolized it, omg!)
