Oh man, you are talking to a Harvest Moon ADDICT. :(Of all the Harvest Moon's released, my favorite would have to be Magical Melody for the gamecube. However, if we're talking about playstation related only, i really did also enjoy Save the Homeland. Even though it seemed short, i like how the system played verses than some of the others. I do look forward to Animal Parade and Sunshine Islands this Fall/Winter!

i like it so much it's the very first good game i played. i like the gba version coz i just have gba emulator at my home, i ever played save the home land once in my friends home, it kinda confusing for me coz it was 3D game, i usually play with view from the top.

I played Harvest Moon on the Gamecube and I liked it. It's peaceful, serene and unlike other games out there, NOT scary. It's the kind of game I play when I don't want to invest a lot of energy or when I just don't know what to do. But it can be boring after a while, I agree. Still, I think it's a good game.

I think the best harvest moon, hands down is the one that came out on N64.

Save the Homeland is a great game to try the Harvest Moon series with, but in comparison to the others, it's not so great. Still, it was my first Harvest Moon game, so I like it nonetheless. 
But I must admit that Friends of Mineral Town is definitely my favorite.
