i agree with dizzydaniels, plasma pistol and smg ftw!!! it takes down pretty much anythin if you walk round with the pistol fully charged, then mow down with the smg, genius

fun games or serious games? charged pistol and smg works wonders, rockets + swords for imba domination. otherwise, take 2 needlers anywaybtw, for campaign, brute plasma rifle + plasma rifle is interesting. usually you'll have either one cooling down at any one time, so you get more or less constant fire.

Pistol and Plasma Pistol or SMG and Plasma Rifle, or in the case of Halo 3... ELITE SWORDS!! (Thats right you might be able to Dual wielding Elite Swords in Halo 3) One for player 2, player 3 and I'll just plunge them both into player 4!!!

I hear everyone say: Plasma Pistol and SMG. Not bad. Dual needlers are always fun.But the best combo is a slight variation of the really popular one. Plasma Pistol and Magnum. If you have good aim you can kill people twice as fast as you can with the SMG.Of course, in both cases if the plasma bolt misses you're screwed. (2 magnums can kill really fast too.)

if your modding, a sniper and a rocketbut not everyone mods so i whould have to go with, well it's not a real dual combo, but the plasma pistol and the BR as your secondary weapon you first hit the guy with the fully charged plasma pistol the quickly get them with the BR =)

My favourite combo would have to human pistol with plasma pistol followed closely by duel needlers. Needler was awesome in halo 1 but got nerfed

Well my favorite is the battle rifle and a shotgun or a sword , but what's effective is a plasma pistol and a battle rifle [O.S.K] , but i like mine more

Dual Plasma rifles, the normal ones cause if you are any good you don't have to stop shooting till your guns outta juice.

Two Magnums. Sometimes that's a game mode that my friends and I will play (it's pretty fun on Foundation).
