It it were possible, I'd say dual Energy Swords...but I'll stick with dual SMGs, since I'm not really that good.

the 2 best combo's are plasma pistol and battle rifle or plasma pistol and pistol, just charge the plasma to full, then pistol the guy in the head, 2 hit kill

Haha, Man dual wielding Rocket Launchers would be so awesome! If you could have the pistols from Halo 1 on Halo 2 then they would be the best dual wields...

would have to be a battle rifle/plasma sword combo. dual wield is cool, but then you cant use grenades...and sticking your friend when hes not looking and running away is even cooler

For Halo 1, I'd pick Rocket Launcher/Shotgun, because it combines sniping, anti-vehicles, and of course it blows people up.For Halo 2, Plasma Pistol/Sniper Rifle, because the Plasma kills their shields and the sniper kills them.

Mine would totaly have to be a plasma rifle and an smg, kills enemies fast so they can't kill you!
