lol funny, :shifty:, there are only few games that i know that can acturally give you a good work out on the wii, but not as good as a workout then going to a gym or doing other type of exersise like basketball, football, etc.

The Wii is fun to play & can help you lose weight, but I wouldn't solely rely on it. The Wii, for me, tends to be fun only when a have someone else to play minigames with, or if I'm playing a new game.

Therer is no way the wii has ever actally helped somed lose enough weight to be a major factor in anyone weight loss. you do not get good amount of exersize from the wii and anyone who buy the wii to lose weight is preety dumb

I agree too. The wii may suck if you are a huge gamer, but it helps you get fit and you lose more weight

Wow, so much hate for the very idea of losing weight with a video game. :dance:I agree with the posters who say putting away the junk food will help you.I agree with the posters who say that buying the console only to lose weight is a bad idea.I agree with the posters who say going to the gym will help you more.Which is why I'm cutting down on the already minimal amount of junk food I eat.I'm not buying the game only to help me keep my figure (there are a good double-handful of games I want that have nothing to do with your health).I hate the gym and am not trekking there to shed a few vanity pounds. :P I actually really enjoy many of the minigames in WiiFit. Maybe I haven't played them enough times to have the 'new'/fun of it wear off yet. ::shrug:: Having a game that would encourage me to get my heartrate up every day as it's meant to would be good for me. I have a high metabolism. I just need to give it a good kick every once in awhile.

Wii Fit. That's one of the 'weight loss' games. Although sitting down does no help.

Uh...other than the obvious ones like Wii Play/Sports/Fit, I guess you can lose some weight playing Punch Out. If you play using the nunchuck, you can...tone your arms? Depends how you play, you can play like a lazy guy and sit down and move slowly, etc. or you can reall get into it and actually get some excercise.
