Most Definitely number 2. It was more challenging than the first and had better levels with more realistic and imaginative backrounds. DK 3 seemed like it was made for a younger audiance; and frankly, kiddy annoyed me to no end.

Out Of The 3 Donkey Kong Countries, which one was the best?

I would have to say that to me, all three are good no matter what

First was the best , then the second, I didn't really like the third.

Personally, I liked 2 the best (maybe it was just because I was better at that than any of the others). The first was definitely charming and comes in at a very close second, but gets edged out because the second is a little more polished. 3 was a solid game, but pales in comparison to the other 2. I think it was just a little hokey. So to recap2>1>3

Donkey Kong Country 2 was awesome and had a great soundtrack. Donkey Kong Country 3 is a close second. And the first one, even though it was one of the first games I ever played, is last. That doesn't mean I dislike it, though. It just feels like it's missing something magical I can't quite put my finger on.

Donkey Kong Country 3 was the best for me. Because it had lot of challenging levels.

It's sad. I own them all and have never beaten a single one of them... I think I got the farthest in DK3 though. I dunno, murky water and pirate ships were kind of creepy when you are a young kid.

The original was the best one in my opinion. It was good all around.

I can't really choose between the first and second, because my memory is too foggy on them. I think they were all fun, but I know that the third is my least favorite because annoying side characters were given too much screen time, and that you don't get to play as Donkey or Diddy.

The second one is the best in my opinion since it was the first one I played and it was two players with Diddy Kong. My brother and I would play it for ours, but we never could beat it...

The first all the way! The second was good, but I really like playing as Donkey. I've played that game so much. I've beat it 101% without dying in 59 minutes. I was trying to see if Cranky would say anything, but he didn't (if you remember from beating it he says "I beat this game using one life, and it took less than an hour").

I really enjoyed the first one! So I guess I'd have to say I like that one the most. I loved the way it looked and felt and I loved the soundtrack to!

This one's easy. DKC2 I think was definitely my favorite and probably the best if only because it was a sequel made better in every way to the already-extremely-popular original. Also, K. Rool actually looked like an evil pirate this time around. The awesome, catchy soundtrack and exotic locales, both dark and mystifying, made this game an instant fave of mine. Granted, the bosses suffered from generic lameness like the first game, but they learned by the third game. The third game, while probably easily the biggest of the trilogy, just felt kinda milked. Kaos and the evil K. Rool doctor were a cute addition, along with the banana birds, bear bros and infinite other secrets, but still...DKC2 held all the magic for me :gbasp:

The first game is great. The other two... not so much. I liked 2 I guess, but I hated 3.

I wanted to add DKC3 was really good too. But since my previous post, I've tried DK 64 and actually hated it. I honestly can't recommend that abomination to anyone who is a fan of the series. Just a heads-up I guess.

Diddy Kong's Quest was the best for me. That game had the best mix of inventive levels and general overall platform difficulty. Also, it had the best soundtrack.
