I'm a little surprised this hasn't been made yet, anyways. For anyone who doesn't know, Dead Space is a new Horror game. It looks pretty awesome and I've been thinking about getting it. Can anyone tell me if it's worth my money?EDIT: Guess I should have made this a poll huh?

Coincidently my friend rented that game today and he said that it was an awesome gaming experience. From what I've seen from reviews is that its story is a bit cliché but that the gaming elements such as the cool weapons, the perspective in 3rd person and the monsters make it a very cool game. If you like the kind of game where you have to take your enemies and cut'em to shreds, you'll love this game. A little too violent for me, but for anyone who wants a cool first person shooter, this is a game to play.

That game is awsome its got a combination of a Doom 3 type environment with a Resident Evil 4 Camera angle And its pretty much a zombie game with some messed up looking zombies.

Ummm okay, if leon from resi 4, went down to rapture from bioshock, adn then rapture got sent into space where everone on board was infected by flood form the halo series, toud just about get dead space. Its a good game. It made me jump right until(and through) the credits started to roll. definetly worth it.

Awesome game! I think it is one of the scariest game I have ever played. Well i think its more jumpy rather than scary.

its ok i guess. its impressive for an EA game, starts off slow but gets addictive after the 4th part of the ship

I played it a little at a friends house and i compltely ruined my horror experience because i always looked a little off(as in not the right direction) from the "pop-ups" of the zombies, and didnt get a scare, SO IF U PLAY AND WANT TO GET A GOOD SCARE, LOOK TOWARD THE DIRECTION U R WALKING.(advice)

I loved this game! I am a huge fan of horror games and this fits right into that catagory. I really liked the zero gravity feature they included. Also, the armor that Isacc wears is a simple design but looks pretty rad. The armor actually looks better the more you upgrade it. I love how sometimes they have a room that is completely dark and nothing happens and yet a room that is filled with light can bring you the most trouble. I really enjoyed this game and I hope they add new stuff on xbox live.

This is a good game but doesn't retain its scariness throughout the whole game. It's pretty freaky for a while though but you get used to all the blood and dismembered limbs just lying around the space ship. Everything else is great. Boss battles are intense and so is fighting off hordes of necromorphs. Overall I think its a pretty damn good game.

Before you guys play game, watch the MOVIE first Dead Space: Downfall. I believe its a prequel to the game. B)

i havent got Dead Space yet but i have the demo its pretty fun but all you do is stay in a room killing Aliens

its kinda like Bioshock in space with a better story and better graphics and no plasmids. its a very fun game because its genuinely scary unlike Bioshock which was freaky in spots but not real horror. its got a very good musical score and as i mentioned the story is fantastic. the creators did an amazing job with this game and Personally i cant wait for the sequel. i dont understand why some may say its Resident Evil in space, i've played 90% of these games and i've noticed very few similarities, asides from the "parasite" thing and the horror elementsIn my opinion its well worth paying 50- 60 bucks unless you can find it for less then you must get it. Its much better for the 360 than the pc not only because of the drm but the gameplay's better

if u havent already bought it i would rent it, it is really good but not much replayability, play once or twice and you'll be done with it

dead space is one of the best survival horror games i have played in a while. the mix of horror and action will keep you on the edge of your seat. the only down side to it is, that if you think that your going to play on one of the harder difficulties you really have to conserve your ammo. other than that, its one of the best games that i have ever played.

It maybe isnt worth the 60 bucks, but then.. what game is ? I found it to be quite an original game, better than al those boring shooters, where you constantly need to make headshots. And shooting of lims is always an plus

It is worth the money but the game can become a little boring after the second time you beat it. Still worth a couple of play through then a revisit. Plus the impossible mode is always fun.

its not more scarier then F.A.I.R. your mates just dissapear in nothing and you always have flashes on your screen with a girl where you can't see here face...

I found Dead Space very enjoyable. I borrowed it from a friend and beat it. I am really considering buying it.
