I've played my friend's DS while we were supposed to be watching a 4-D animated film during a school trip. I couldn't concentrate on the game though [Cooking Mama] so I gave up playing and just watched the film. And because it was "4-D" we got splashed with water and powdery stuff that was supposed to be snow, and his DS got wet... D:

Well, it would appear that "the bathroom" is no longer a strange play to play DS, considering the multitudes of replies stating the strangest place is the bathroom.

On a greyhound bus next to an old lady who kept asking me questions about it like she had never seen such a device. I told her all about it and she informed me that she was now going to get her grandchildren one lol!

at a friends party, some dudes were asking me too many questions and i was kinda tipsy and needing to spuke (spew+puke) so i went to the bathroom and did wat you do when you need to upchuck. then i noticed my DS in my pocket and coz i was so lightheaded i practically lay down in my friends bathtub playing DS. since i have agro issues when i lose at a game (coz i maybe 80% of the time never) i wasted about 5000gil on the same weapon in Ring of Fates and started kicking the tiles and swearing. I know all this coz its on camera.

I play while I'm waiting for movies to start in theaters, in class and on public transit, but I can't say I've ever played in the bathroom, thats a little much I think.

calculus classroom. i loved how my teacher was way too lenient to actually do anything about things like that.
