I've played Platinum on the room of my dads garage. Couldnt see the screen well though :/

I bring my DS pretty much everywhere with me, so I suppose it all depends on what you consider to be strange! I think it's not too untypical for people to bring it in the bathroom with them, so I say that one's not gonna count. But weirdest....hmmm. Probably either in a church (hey, to my defense, it wasn't a mass! There was a musical being held there, and there was a long wait before it began) or while sitting in the emergency room of the local hospital once. Hey, I said it comes EVERYWHERE with me! Oh, also worth noting: I took it when I had one of my wisdom teeth removed. I wasn't under the general anesthetic (I just had novacaine and some gas) and played it while in the chair leading up to it, waiting for the numbness to kick in, and afterwards while they were waiting on the bleeding to slow a little before letting me go home. That was kinda different...and the dentist was pretty interested in the fact that I'd chosen Trauma Center of all things to be playing there

The strangest place I play the DS is when i'm in the bathroom. It is also the only time I can.

I play my DS on the toilet all the time, and it seems alot of other folks on here do as well. So I'm inclined to think the toilet isn't all that "strange" of a place to play. With the toilet aside, I'd have to say the weirdest place I've played my DS is walking through wal-mart with my girlfriend. I had just bought Kirby super star ultra, and she still had shopping to do. I couldn't wait to try it so i popped it in.

Definately when I was playing Earthbound on my computer and watching House DVD's at about... 3 am. That and at a park at night.

in almost every class at school the teachers didn't care as long as i didn't bother the class and knew what to do.um and at a dentist appointment while they were working on my teeth ... i could see there work when it was loading screens the ds was used as a mirror.and like LizasLilProtege i take my ds with me every wheres its alwase by my side

sewing class (grade 8 home-economics) or riding my bike down the sidewalk. both seam kinda akward. And I am not fibbing about the playing while riding my bike. It was a long sidewalk and I was looking up like every other second. and eventually dropped my ds cuz I almost hit somebody.

I'd say the only really strange place to play DS is at home, since the whole point of a portable game system is for, well, portability. Anywhere else you use it you're getting your money's worth, but at home you might as well do something else.

I play on the toilet a lot. Other than that I don't play anywhere really unusual. Sometimes in parking lots while waiting for some shady associates who are never on time. I used to play in the hot tub, very carefully. But then I realized that the humidity it threw off was messing up the tv that's near it so I didn't wanna expose my DS to it anymore.Reading this thread it seems playing on the toilet isn't really that strange.
