My bro did. He dropped it one day and the bit with the power display light just snapped right off. Weird...I myself have only had my DS for 2 years now. It's lightblue. very snazzy.

If you mean repair as in, trade in for a new one. Then yes and i do strongly believe, that my method counts.

No, but my sister put a big gash in my touch screen, so I traded it in for a DS Lite. :weep:

I just want to know how reliable others DS's have been to them. I've had to send mine in Twice. The L Trigger stopped functioning and Slot 1 Stopped reading my DS chips.

I've never had any problems with mine.

I'm going to send my DS in soon, since the R button is broken and I need to finish Crono Trigger. I need to get a new DS to continue the game. :)

I had to send mine in at one point because both L and R stopped working, which I needed to finish Castlevania. I've noticed those two buttons seem to stop working for others as well.

I may have to. After three years, my L button has stopped working, or at least it fails 9 out of 10 times. I don't treat it harshly, but once a waiter spilled soda on it, and all the buttons worked fine, the L button konked out about half a year later. It's an original DS, by the way.
