I have never sent my Ds for repairs and I am so glad because I use my DS alot.

I've gone through two DS's. I'm currently using my third, which is almost breaking down. I've been requesting repairs, but they always say that it's unrepairable. My first DS was exposed to extreme heat, which made the touch screen unresponsive. My second DS fell down alot, and I used it quite a bit. The A button's spring became loose, and the screen half dangles by mere wires. My most current DS (which I use the Nerf Casing) already has a crack in the top half, and it's touch screen "inflated", if you wish. For the touch screen has warped and curved, although it is stll perfectly responsive.

After playing mario party for a while the mic stopped working (I guess i was blowing on the mic a little to hard) so i took it back to the store and got it replced. now the new one just broke, you know how you open the DS and it stays open at an angle and you open it a little more and it stays open at a an angle also, well mine just opens all the way to where it just stays fully open.

i might have to send mine in the top sceen turn white whenever i turn it on my dad drop it i was so really madis there a repair a south korea i wonder maybe?

I had to send in my DS once, it was completely broken, the two screens weren't together anymore...^-^" I don't know how it happened, it never fell down or anything... Anyway, it seemed that they couldn't repair it, because they sent me a new one^^

I've had to send mine in once. After a lot of use my DS was stricken with the infamous hinge crack. Separating the one end of the two screens where they meet. It still worked fine but Nintendo fixed it anyhow.

I've had my DS for three years now, and nothing has happened that requires fixing. The touch screen is scratched up, but still responsive. Sometimes it refuses to read the game card, but if I take it out and put it in again, it fixes itself. It's not physically broken in any way because I'm paranoid about the way it's treated

Yeah, my screen got jacked up and it had a black streak on the touch screen.I'm guessing it tore.

i actually have never sent one of my nintendo ds to repair because I have bought both used but i have had problems with my hinges on both ds that i have owned.

nope, haven't sent it in yet. Although, i could conceivably send in my broken DS, rather than getting a new one. water damage is fixable, isn't it?

Oh yes, while I was removing the protective case, the L button on the side came off and had to wait 3 months.

ewww mine needed repairs 1 time... I through it out the window and bought a new one 
(it was getting old anyways and I was already going to buy a NDS lite)

once because the battery light remained red all the time and there was this little tiny pixel on the top screen that was dead and was bugging me. (it's dead when it's red so if you play a game with dark backgrounds you can tell!)
