I've come really close a number of times in the past. But the games have aged really poorly, and the hardware hasn't agled like wine either. If there is anything on it still worth playing there is always emulation.

I never liked sega, there aren't any really good classics on it. People always say "BUT IT HAS SONIC!!!!1!!1", which isn't very good anyways.

No games are really good on this old portable so thats why I never bought it. I happened to have had megaman game gear in mint before but I sold out for some reason, lol.

I never had a game gear, but I really wanted one after watching Surf Ninjas. I agree with the people earlier who said it was ahead of it's time. It simply tried to do too much. A B&W gamegear would not have been ideal, though. Sega was all about what "Nintendon't". Although I'm sure they could have made a decent 16-color Sonic the Hedgehog.

There were 2 shining force games for game gear, but they weren't translated to English until they came out as "Shining Force CD" for the SegaCD system. Shining Force was a classic IMO, but the game gear wasn't a great system. I think You can get them for $5 at some used game stores in my area.

Believe it or not I think the Power Rangers games were some of the best handheld games on Game Gear. Damn fun platforming.

GameGear broke a long long time ago. Probably from dropping it way too much. 6 year olds weren't meant to be playing it.I do remember having a Sonic and a Power Ranger game though.

Game Gear, a very old console (like Gameboy Color). Unfortunately, all the games it has could be found on different consoles or arcades. I still use it but not that often.
