I have one. It's fun to play, and kind of akward. Huge blue block with a big screen. Sonic Pinball rocks on it.I have a screen magnifier for it too.

yeah i dug mine out just now - i forgot how good it actually was, the sound on it is way better than the Game boy, and the colour well its way better than the GBC.Still not as good as the nomad though (portable Genesis/Mega Drive) that was well cool.

My Game Gear reminds me of happy times that's why I still have it. It was my first real gaming experience, next to the sega that is. The only problem with the game gear was the amount of batteries. 6! It was a pain in the donkey.

I own it with only the sonc chaos and sonic 1 games. dt like that it takes 6 AA bateries when i coul just play those on gamecube.

OMG i had one of those i threw it out like a month ago coz i found it while we moved house. best game was donald duck! i also had the "big window ver.2" a huge magnifier which made the screen darker too haha. got to love early technology!

I owned one but it is forbidden from my sight forever for using up so many batteries. Game gear sucks cuz it uses too much energy.

I also recently found my gg. I remember playing this baseball game when i was a kid...I could sit down for hours in front of that thing!!!!never got boring

i still have a gamegear and all the games i got when it came out ie. virtual fighter, g-loc, shinobi, sonic 3, gauntlet, judge dredd, and some other gamesman that system was a head of its time and still is pretty good

I don't know if I still have mine or not. I remember a year or so ago I rediscovered it and started playing and it died after a single hour -_-. I ought to go see if I can find it again. I remember I used to have the greatest time with that despite the horrible battery life. Oh, the memories.

Ya...but normally handheld are meant for playing anywhere as long as possible...Game Gear has 6 batteries but in the end it still die out very fast...
