I actually did purchase a few Virtual Console games on consoles I don't actually own and don't plan on owning. For the exception of Megaman games, even though I own them all, I will buy them anyways!

I bought and tried a few of them, but frankly the experience playing with the wiimote just doesn't compare well to the experience on the original console. >. >But frankly who buys a wii to play games which are a decade old =.=

I like the ability to play VC games on the Wii, mainly for the purposes of speed running.

I would jump at the chance to play classic games, but the fact is that I can't figure out why my wii can't conncect to the internet. Also it would be hard to get the money. (I'm too asian, my parents are too asian.)

Playing classic games (And that is if we are talking about the NES games) is much greater played on the WII. Think about it. As brawl had said about the PC being able to play this games (except for nintendo 64), they couldn't replace that same nostalgic feeling of actually playing the good old nintendo system on your own tv. The WII MOTE also added that same feeling as it feels like that old D-PAD of the NES.

I don't buy classic games because they are too expensive ($10 a pop for N64 games) and I don't want to buy a whole new remote (classic controller). Yes, I am a cheap bastard.

I don't have my Wii hooked up to the internet, but even if I did, I wouldn't play the classics on my Wii. 1) It costs money and 2) I have a DS with an R4, so I can play all the classic games I want right on my handheld. I think that way is much easier/better. If I'm going to boot up a massive console and sit down to do some gaming on such a powerful system, I'm going to want to take advantage of that and play a Wii or Gamecube game.As for N64 games, I have an old N64 with loads of games, so I'll just play it on that. Besides, you can't nostalgically replicate an N64 controller at ALL, so it's best to play those games on the original system. If I need a new game, I'm off to eGay or Gamestop to buy whatever I want for just a few dollars.

I have only purchased a few game on Virtual Console, and it was just for the heck of it. I haven't bought anything off of WiiWare though... I am waiting to see if they release Earthbound for the VC.

The classic games off VC was actually one of the biggest draws the Wii had for me. I enjoy being able to play all my old games again, even if it needs homebrew for most. There's something so much more fulfilling about playing a game on an actual TV than on a computer.
