I would say Wind or water... I like snow and water is (like wind) everywhere. But just controlling an element would be awsome!

Earth. It's solid, good for attack and defense. Also, depending on the continuity you're dealing with, it might also come with healing powers.

Wind is my definite choice of element. It's always been my favorite of the elements. Usually it means you get some ability to fly, which is BA in my books. ;3If I got a second choice, Earth along with it. Only cause I'd have an excuse to say "Mother natures a Biatch, eh?"

I would control the element of Surprise! Hahaha. do you guys get it? =)But to be honest, i think i would control water since it has three diferent states. (Solid, liquid, gas)

I would control lightning cause you could also use it to start fires, and its strong against water

Though normally I would say something along the lines of Water or Air, I should note that controlling air controls the directional path of Lightning, I have to go with Earth for a better variety of uses. Earth can make a weapon, armor, shelter, and even help till the soil in the ground to help with the growth of plants.

Honestly, I'd take water. Everything depends on how far towards fantasy/realism we're leaning, here, but crashing a tsunami onto somebody is going to drive them into the ground with lethal force. Oh, and free transatlantic/transpacific travel.

I'd say fire. Sure, it's destructive, but fire also virtually gives you control over smoke. If you ever learned anything about fire, you would know that usually, the smoke gets to you before the flames to.

Hydrogen, because being able to rip all of the hydrogen out of someone's body leaving them a withered husk would be fun.Not to mention I'd always have water after figuring out how to work the powers.

Earth would be helpful, but i would have to say air. You can control wind currents, and say you need to crush some one.... a twister out of nowhere to blow away all annoyances

I like Fire and all (not Phyromaniac) but I would prefer Wind, the vast quantities, the fast transportation, the destructive power, what else can I say?
