Always had an affinity towards fluid systems so I'd be torn between wind and water...I think I'd go with water because of its versatility.In a liquid state (as frequently mentioned) is it a major component in the human body meaning that any ability to control your own fluids internally offers the unique ability to rest the function of the heart, reduce inflammatory responses and autoimmune responses where necessary, and offer protection on trauma if used right. (I could probably summerize that as "makes for better health and possibly improved healing)And as far as its martial force, its remarkable. If you're familiar with the Water benders from Avatar: the last airbender and the Ice Alchemist (who used ice and steam), you can see its destructive power. The spontaneous formation of ice alone is overwhelming :)For more realistic reasons, think of the ability of ice formation to break through stronger materials like ice cracking the concrete every winter in places with snow.Also Hydraulics allow us to use massive heavy machinery. Very neat stuff if you could actually control water telekinetically like that Ahh, it'd be neat

I am probably getting too technical here---and hopefully we haven't been through this area of the conversation >.>;;When we talking about element are we referring to the periodic table (A) sort of element OR like the Nature (B) sort of element ^^;; Since controlling fire would be require control over several "things" in order to cause a combustion reaction >.>;;If A, then I think I'd go for gold---well, now I have my all bills, tuition fees & holiday travels covered---or carbon---now I won't have to worry about food since I am photosynthetic and can be like Greed from Full Metal Alchemist (LOL)!If B, then I will probably go for electricity/lightning---start up an energy supply company then I'm set for life !P.S. Guess, same goes with water as well lol

Water would be a cool element to control, it would be nice cause it is everywhere...Though I would control the element of metal. That way regular weapons made of steel and metal would be useless against me.

I would like to control the water. Especially during summer season. Imagine that if fire occurs, i could easily put it out with this ability.

Errr, does darkness/shadow count as an element? If not then... probably wind or water (Wind - Water - Fire - Earth right? or can it me elaborated?).

I don't see why not. As long as it's explained why you think it's an element, and 'why' in depth. Allow me..Errr, does darkness/shadow count as an element?
I also think the element of Darkness should be utilized. To harness the element of Darkness, you need to first set yourself up for being alone, more or less the fact that you wish to control elements out of your control, not to mention ones with just overall "Dark" quality. You could expand that element to build off the hatred and anger of it's user, while taking the power of others as well. Dark doesn't always mean one's self, it can also mean harnessing the power of the unknown, or the afterlife. Like using shamanic powers to raise the dead. I have been fascinated with this element for years, looking into what really defines "dark" in ones mind, so yeah there you have the powers of Darkness.

I'd say wind and earth. Wind is fast plus it's strong and of course earth is strong too, so it's a good combination! x3

Probably Nitrogen. It's the most abundant element in the atmosphere so it would always be available to me when I needed it. Nitrogen is also very volatile in most forms, so I could easily use it to make-shift a weapon if I needed too. Most organisms have nitrogen in their systems as well, giving me some physical control of their bodies. Nitrogen is pretty overpowered.

I've always dreamed about controlling or even BEING lightning. Similar to Enel from One Piece. Become lightning, get to anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye. It'd be amazing. To some degree lightning has almost no weakness.

I would love the ability to control the element of darkness, to be able to control power from within the shadows but if that didn't work lightning would be my 2nd choice because its just really cool to control natural energy and to shock things
