I'm just trying to get an estimate of how many people would actually buy a second Xbox 360 for those that already own one if Microsoft were to cut the price of the console to $99, they'd be selling it at a loss, but their market-share could sky rocket, and sell a lot of second copies of games.

Brand new? or used? Sure why not? Unless it's an arcade though, I would have to think about that.

For $99 I'd buy a second one because I would like to play more LAN games. Plus I'm pretty sure my brother would buy one for merely twice the price of a used XBox Classic. An Xbox arcade would be great as an alternative to a DVD player, because you could stream movies from Netflix. I'd take streaming media over BluRay any day.

Yeah I would because my 360 had the red ring of death (GOOOOOOOOOOOOL YOU 360) and I could just use the arcade one as a replacement untill I got my main fixed.

Hi,I have two... my first one, I got the normal version, then I got the ring of death, sent it to microsoft, got it back a week later, got the ring of death again 2 days later, sent it back again, then I received 2 boxes back... 2 xboxes! tho I just had cables for one for a while (I got the rest after) now I play with my friends... its pretty cool... tho it gets expensive trying to buy the games twice... or another TV specially if you live on your own or with your gf... cheers...

I would definitely buy a second xbox 360 as long as it has the newer chipset and then I can transfer the licenses to the new console.I would find the price to be very attractive, it would definitely be a loss on microsoft's end but it would definitely help them move consoles.

If they had it at that price, they would sell so many of them, in such a short amount of time that people would be saying "ps3 who?"
